FireWire Adapter
Connect different FireWire devices together using FireWire adapters. Also referred to as iLink, DV, IEEE1394a and IEEE1394b, FireWire interface carries speeds of up to 800Mbps and comes in two configurations: FireWire 400 (or IEEE1394a) and FireWire 800 (or IEEE1394b).
Choose from different types of FireWire connections:
- Four Pin and Six Pin plugs: support speeds of FireWire 400.
- Nine Pin Beta: supports speeds of FireWire 800.
- Nine Pin Bilingual: facilitates the connection of FireWire 800 devices to the FireWire 400 interface.
