LINDY USB Combination Lock Keeps Data Safe

We announced today the launch of our USB Combination Lock, a multifunction security lock for USB pen drives and other USB devices that prevents unauthorised access to the data held within. In addition, it can be used as a more traditional padlock for securing other types of devices and equipment.

The lock uses a three digit wheel combination, set to a user defined code. When the USB device is not in use, simply set the dials to the security code and insert the USB device’s A plug into the lock, then turn the dials on the combination to protect the device and the information stored on it.

We hold so much information on USB sticks these days that it makes sense to protect them, not just from misuse, but also to stop others from deleting important information. Our new multifunction lock offers the perfect combination for securing pen drives and laptop cases with just one lock.

The LINDY USB Combination Lock can also be used as a traditional padlock as it features a plastic covered lightweight steel cable that is secured by the same three digit wheel combination. This can be released and threaded through zip pulls, then re-secured using the combination lock.
